Hi there and welcome to my little online space. Let me share a bit of my story with you. I love the seaside. Everything about it. Standing on a cliff watching the waves, walking barefoot along the sand, the smell of salty air, eating a pasty or fish’n’chips whilst watching kiddies jump over the waves. There is some much to love. You probably know what I mean, it’s a love affair I’m sure I share with many.

I’m based in the south west of England but much to my dismay, I don’t actually live anywhere near the sea. No matter, that doesn’t stop me from going to the seaside whenever I can, and whatever the weather, I’m British after all. Quite simply, the seaside is my happy place and I like to be happy.

I decided to create this blog as a space to collect memories of my trips to the seaside; a place to share where I’ve been, what I’ve seen and include a few piccies for good measure. You’ll find plenty of posts about my coastal adventures, mainly from the South West coast because boy am I obsessed with this beautiful corner of the world and there are other bits too, generally all with a nautical nuance to them.
